Having been an Economics professor at San Diego State University, worked as an economics consultant in both the private and public sectors, and owned and managed businesses in San Diego for the past 27 years, Wayne Dunlap has a good understanding of how the American economy works and how we can fix it.  He knows that America can maintain a strong economy by reducing taxes, eliminating unnecessary government spending, providing better job opportunities through better education, and having hard working Americans keep more of their income.

With proper immigration reform, we can control immigration and reduce the threat from terrorism.  We need to do this while balancing the need to secure our borders with our country's economic needs for vital labor skills.

Wayne Dunlap will make it the highest priority to have all Federal firefighting resources in San Diego coordinated with State and Local and get to the fire as soon as possible day 1.  We also need to insure that southern California has a reliable source of water.

‘Change’ is an often spoken of in this election.  Recently, we sent Democrats to Congress and nothing seemed to change.  Years ago we sent Republicans to run our government and we have seen how that has worked out.

Many Americans do not agree with their chosen political party but worry they will elect someone even worse when they change their vote to the other dominant political party.  Don’t waste your vote!  You are telling the politicians that you endorse their usual high tax, big government agenda.  Real change will not come from trading power back and forth from the two major political parties.  They are too entrenched in political favors.  A vote for a third party candidate is the only way to get their attention and change their beliefs.
